BAF Values Hero: Jack P.

Jack, a food technologist in our Blackfoot plant, received two Values Hero nominations in Q4. Jack was recognized for living the “It Takes a Team” value when he was an instrumental part of the R&D team that successfully prepared and presented a cutting of over 13 products in complete dishes in less than 45 minutes for the Board of Directors. Jack brought enthusiasm to the kitchen and the team, took responsibility for ensuring the event was a success and demonstrated flexibility in being able to respond to special requests.

Jack exemplified our “Keep It Going” value when he recently took over a project while it was in a critical state. Jack immediately started to make improvements in our relationship with the customer and worked tirelessly to produce multiple rounds of samples. As a result, he was able to secure approval for a new formula and a distribution center test that helped us to protect a large volume customer.
