Hurricane Dorian Relief Donation

Posted On: September 17, 2019

Hurricane Dorian has left behind catastrophic damage throughout the Bahamas, impacting at least 76,000 people and 13,000 homes. The storm continues to impact the eastern coastline of the United States, with high storm surges, rain, and tornado threats. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have suffered as a result of this storm, and with the emergency personnel working on support operations.

Basic American Foods has donated $50,000 to the American Red Cross to assist with the recovery efforts, including evacuation shelters, meals, and health services.

A core value of BAF is to “Make Things Better.” That means we are committed to making a meaningful difference – in our employees’ lives, for our customers, and in the larger communities where we work and live. I am proud to be a part of a company that continues to live by its values and help the communities devastated by this natural disaster.
